Jan Borchardt, Veterinary Assistant |

Jan Borchardt has been around animals for most of her life and has loved every
minute of it. In fact, she has been showing and breeding English Setters for
42 years! Jan has taught obedience classes and judged numerous AKC breed sweepstakes
shows. She has finished 28 English Setters to their AKC Championships and four AKC
Companion Dogs in obedience trials. Jan has also worked as a volunteer at the
Washington County Humane Society. Jan currently owns seven English Setters, a
Golden Retriever, a Doberman and a large tuxedo cat named Sylvester. In addition to caring
for her pet family, Jan’s hobbies include sewing, painting, embroidery, and crafts.
Jan has two children, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Jan is proud to join Dr. Krueger’s team as “she is a wonderful, warm person and an
expert in veterinary care. She has been my dogs’ and cats’ veterinarian for many
years and has kept them happy and healthy. Tails are wagging!”
